Gaelstrom is a representation of the strength of the Gaelic tradition and character illustrating that

nature, which has roots in Classical Antiquity defined by natural recalcitrance and individualism.  

It is a swirling collective of fluid ideas and feelings - a melting pot of cultural creativity.

This book is a social commentary; each image makes a statement.  

The visuals illustrate and depict these characteristics in direct comparison to the pressure on society 

to adhere to being part of a functioning tool without independent mind. People are fooled into believing 

individuality and freedom of choice really exists, but that is generally only reflected by outward 

appearance and not by thoughts, feelings and actions. It's an artificial individuality, not individuality of 

nature and strength of spirit.

This book aims to demonstrate the difference between the misconception and the belief and shows how the 

determined creative Celtic spirit strives on regardless of the restrictions.
